Because Elena doesn't have a sword...that was a trick o' the mind. Just kidding, but I haven't drawn it in a while. And it's been a long while. Even the non-comic art doesn't feature her sword anymore. It's mostly because that sash I use to hold it in place is too hard to draw. Or at least because I haven't been drawing it, it has evolved with Elena so....yeah. Elements. Also that third to last panel is my favorite in-comic drawing of Elena.
